The Pegasus Lounge is located conveniently in downtown Pittsburgh on 818 LIBERTY AVENUE. The restaurant is also BYOB, so as long as you have the receipt with you, you can enjoy one last drink even after the bars have stopped serving and closed. Drinks are not cheap, and it's only busy here on Fridays, but it's a real, NYC-style gay dance club, and the only one in Pittsburgh, so it does fill a niche. There's lots of attitude and pretentiousness, but in exchange there's also lots of eye candy. Small, intimate, straight and gay, cross dressers and not. Everyone loves to hate Pegasus, but it's great in small doses. Sweet Liberty has been named one of the Worlds 50 Best Bars and has won several.
